Fantastic WIW2019 – Thanks Everyone!

What a fantastic nine days of arts, music, writing, writers, authors, poets and storytellers! Thanks to all who helped, bought tickets, provided support and much more.  Special thanks goes to Maryborough Advertiser, Goldfields Getaway, Big Cat Print, Maryborough Butter Factory, The Welcome Record Dunolly, Maryborough Visitor Centre, Central Goldfields Shire Tourism, Maryborough Library, Central Goldfields Art Gallery, Katescastle Book Emporium, Goldfields Gymnastics, Avoca Arts Gallery 127, Madam Chi Chi Cafe, and all the artists and performers.  Thanks to all other Words in Winter towns for linking us every year.  Next year in 2020 will be running from Saturday 1st to Friday 7th August, with a great line up and more on offer in Maryborough, Dunolly, Carisbrook, and Avoca.  It will be a special year for the region as we celebrate ten years. There are some value added events coming up for the year due to popularity, so keep following this site for details, and there was also a launch for Pyrenees Platform Writers at Avoca Railway Station complex, which will put on events through the year.  All the best for Spring, just around the corner!
